(41 mm.). \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis guitar is a very nice Fender custom Shop rendition of the early \"Nocaster\", the guitar produced in 1951 between the Broadcaster and Telecaster iterations. Early that year Gretsch notified Fender they held a trademark on the \"Broadkaster\" tradename, so Leo (never a man to waste anything) had the headstock decals cut down so they read simply \"Fender\". This was a short-lived expedient and the originals are extremely rare. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis relic re-issue of that short-lived Tele variant is quite authentic overall, light at 6 lbs 10 oz with a very chunky \"baseball bat\" neck profile, 7.25\" radius, and vintage-style frets. Other period details include slot-head screws, a single layer black pickguard, and brass saddles. It is wired to the \"modern\" standard switching scheme, not the archaic 1951 style with a large bass cap in the neck position. The guitar has \"light relic\" simulated wear but does not appear to have been actually played much since new. Comes in a nice re-issue center pocket tweed case with a complete package of original case candy including the COA from the Fender Custom Shop.
