The body sports a vibrant deep red finish (the Mustang lacks the heavy clear overcoat of higher-end Fender finishes, thus tends to stay truer in color). The pickguard is laminated with a white pearloid top layer. The neck is dated July '66 and pots coded to 42nd week of that year. An American classic and still a great deal in an original 1960's Fender guitar!

Overall length is 39 3/4 in. (101 cm.), 12 1/4 in. (31.1 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 1/2 in. (3.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 in. (610 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.). All original with typical playwear-dents, dings etc. but no major finish loss, repairs or alterations. Whammy bar is missing; the bridge posts are taped to prevent rocking and maintain better tuning stability-easily reversible if desired. Very good player, a nice gigging '60's Mustang, with the original Fender case. Excellent - Condition.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0672/8702/3756/files/01_e5c4ce2c-be51-41cb-8a3b-9cbc21bb5362.jpg?v=1774329471
