Built primarily to expand the company's hold on the teaching studio\/young student market these guitars were many players' first electric, far more playable than most and stylish in an understated way. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eNeck dated 3\/58 and pots from the 7th week of that year; neat comfortable little neck with the classic '58 Fender \"rounded V\" profile. The original anodised metal pickguard still looks sharp! \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eA neat package, and an affordable 1950's Fender guitar for playing or collecting.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eOverall length is 37 7\/8 in. (96.2 cm.), 12 1\/8 in. (30.8 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 1\/2 in. (3.8 cm.) deep. Scale length is 22 1\/2 in. (572 mm.). \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAll original except some added decorative trim has been removed, leaving a faint \"racing stripe\" effect in the finish on the upper bouts. Average light overall play wear. This guitar still has the original snap-on bridge cover and has not been stripped of its more valuable parts (knobs, neckplate, pots, wiring) as so many have. Plays and sounds excellent with original case, period strap, and method book.
