fender-harvard-model-5f10-tube-amplifier-1958-8704
Fender Harvard Model 5F10 Tube Amplifier (1958)
Fender Harvard Model 5F10 Model Tube Amplifier (1958), made in Fullerton, California, serial # H01253, tweed fabric covering finish.

Height is 16 1/4 in. (41.3 cm.), 17 3/4 in. (45.1 cm.) width, and 8 7/8 in. (22.5 cm.) deep. This veteran 1958-built tweed amp is rather well-worn externally with a decent amount of scruff to the exterior, which shows darkening, spots and some outright dirt overall. The handle is a very nice repro but all other external fittings remain original. The control panel chrome is better preserved with only fairly light corrosion and scuffing. Internally there has been a decent amount of work over the years; the output transformer, Selenium rectifier and filter caps are replaced and a ground three prong cord has been added. It has just been biased for a new matched set of NOS tubes. The cabinet mounts a brand new Weber 10A125 which allows a higher crankage factor with more headroom and volume than the original Jensen, but still lets the amp slide into sweet overdrive easily. All-in-all a great gigging example of the big-sounding 10-watt "Steve Cropper Classic" amp, one of Fender's fantastic if less well known gems. And yes, we've played "Green Onions" on itin F. Very Good + Condition.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0672/8702/3756/files/01_dacd8596-6f52-4804-98d3-d8de4e91a715.jpg?v=1774334666
