The electronic set-up is particularly interesting, featuring two single-coil pickups which can be blended via a hidden rotary control under the bridge cover. The slightly asymmetrical body carries a metal fingerboard plate, metal "ashtray" tuner well with 8 metal-button Kluson tuners and a chrome plate carrying the pickups, bridge and two ribbed Tele-style knobs. This early example (pots dated to late 1955 and early '56) shows fairly heavy use but still sports a beautiful '50's Fender blonde finish and original components including the optional legs. This is a great sounding steel and a neat Fender collectible.

Overall length is 30 3/4 in. (78.1 cm.), 6 1/2 in. (16.5 cm.) width, and 1 7/8 in. (4.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 22 1/4 in. (565 mm.). Width of nut is 2 1/4 in. (57 mm.). Well played but all original; shows some rather heavy pickwear to the body and fingerboard but no alterations. Sounds great and includes a nice tweed HSC. Overall Very Good + Condition.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0672/8702/3756/files/01_5d009a72-a4fd-48a8-b65f-a26b2f9774d6.jpg?v=1774331015
