This amp has just been serviced and is sounding great; service included a grounded plug, a minimal cap job, and re-biasing to spec. It does have a long-ago neatly replaced output transformer, an older \"Made in Japan\" piece likely dating to the 1970s. No other circuit changes have been made -- it retains the original power transformer and speaker. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eExternally the tweed is solid; a bit dirty but not too funky-looking, with just the corners worn through. The original leather handle has been replaced with a new leather one and the faceplate shows very little corrosion. This is yet another great-sounding tweed Champ, a perennial favorite amp -- small in size but a monster in tone!
