The 1959 Champ is often considered one of the greatest small amps ever, and this one certainly bears that out. The speaker is original, the tubes period, even the leather handle is still intact; there has been quite a bit of cap work (the originals are included), and the result is a fantastic sound. These late-'50s Champs have a bit more muscle and headroom than the earlier versions, retaining the singing distortion these are loved for when cranked.
