Early in John Williams' career, his instrument of choice was a Monch. This fine example of Monch's work in Germany is in excellent condition and is an excellent sounding instrument.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eOverall length is 38 3\/4 in. (98.4 cm.), 14 1\/2 in. (36.8 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 1\/2 in. (8.9 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 1\/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 2 in.
