(97.2 cm.), 14 in. (35.6 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 in. (7.6 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/4 in. (44 mm.).

This is a nice clean example of one of the more interesting 1970s Dobro-branded instruments, the Model 36 A.K.A. "The Rose". The Model 36 is essentially a hybrid of traditional National and Dobro features, with a few more modern touches. The body is configured rather like a 1930s 14-fret Style 0, with a Dobro style coverplate over the National style downward-facing single cone. The plated surface is engraved with a simplified National Style 2 Tricone Rose pattern. The neck is set up with a solid peghead, adjustable truss rod, and Grover tuners. This is a very clean guitar showing some light play wear but no repairs; an excellent-playing and sounding (and very attractive) example of the Dopyera Brothers' later work. Includes a period HSC. Excellent Condition.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0672/8702/3756/files/01_c2ebaedf-d633-41bc-bfa7-a41b38a71d33.jpg?v=1774340457
