Appointments are extremely deluxe including gold-plated Grover Imperial tuners, gold Oettinger-style adjustable tension tailpiece, and elaborate multiple binding on all edges. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe ebony fingerboard features pearl block inlays bordered in contrasting pearl strips and the original owner's name inlaid at the 19th fret. This instrument is equipped with a floating Johnny Smith style pickup with a D'Angelico style stairstepped multi-bound wooden pickguard, making for a wonderful-sounding guitar played both acoustically and electrically.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eDave Nichols is known as a world-class artisan in pearlcutting as well as guitar building, and this instrument is one of the few archtops he has made to date.
