These guitars replicate the played-in feel of a vintage Fullerton piece better than just about anything on the market today, and as a result they currently have a 9-month waiting list for new models. This is an early example, built in 2010 and actually played-in, though on these the custom aging process and any actual play wear blend to the point of invisibility.

This is a replica of a stock mid-'60s Tele with the following specs: Total Weight 6 lbs. 14 oz, with a two-piece ultralight swamp ash with a thin blonde all nitro finish. The Chunky Soft V-neck profile has a 7.25 radius with #6230 fretwire and a 1.65 nut. The pat. pending stamped bridge has staggered steel saddles for better intonation.

The pickups are a new tweaked Lollar set: AL5 bridge wound to about 7.8K and an AL3 neck wound to about 7.2K. The rig is all cloth wire with CTS pots, a Switchcraft 3-way, and .047 cap topped off with a pair of ORIGINAL '67 tele knobs. The headstock bears a "Freakin Danocaster" logo and it comes in a '60s Fender style hardshell case.

This is absolutely one of the nicest and best-handling "Vintage" recreations we have had; a great-playing and sounding guitar at a very reasonable cost for the quality of the components. There are several variations from the original pattern -- notably the neck profile and bridge saddle configuration -- but from a serious player's standpoint this guitar is hard to beat for anything like the price!

Overall length is 38 3/4 in. (98.4 cm.), 12 3/4 in. (32.4 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.).

This guitar is so authentically relic-ed it's impossible to say much more than "looks, sounds, and plays as it should". It's an 8-year-old-that looks 50...a more desirable situation in guitars than humans! A very fine-playing and sounding replica '60s Tele from the current master of the domain. As it proclaims on the headstock, it's a "Freakin' Danocaster!" Excellent + Condition.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0672/8702/3756/files/01_b1ca0df6-cd23-4f96-a367-724d05e69014.jpg?v=1774340085
