This one carries pots and a body stamp dating to 1965,the peak year of the 1960's guitar boom. With a long 22 fret neck and single "lipstick" pickup the Model 1444 is an extremely useful and good sounding bass, light, handy and easy to play. The classic garage band bass, still a very good value 50 years later!

Overall length is 43 3/8 in. (110.2 cm.), 14 3/8 in. (36.5 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 11/16 in. (4.3 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 29 1/2 in. (749 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). A nice, all original example; some light play wear overall. Very good neck, minimal fret wear, some chips and a polished-out scratch on the back. Some color gone from the plastic logo and chips to the headstock tip. This one is an excellent player with the typically great Danelectro sound!
