Martin Style 0 Model Soprano Ukulele, c. 1920's, made in Nazareth, PA, natural mahogany finish, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard.

Overall length is 20 3/4 in. (52.7 cm.), 6 5/16 in. (16 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 5/16 in. (5.9 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 13 5/8 in. (346 mm.). Width of nut is 1 7/16 in. (36 mm.). This early Style 0 is fairly clean overall; with only some light wear and scuffing to the finish. The only major work performed is one long repaired crack running almost the entire length of the bass side that is solidly sealed but still visible, with some finish polish-out. There is also one tiny inexplicable pinhole by the center seam of the tailblock. This uke is all original except it is fitted with the new Pohaku tuners in place of the original wooden violin style pegs-these fit right into the existing holes but provide geared tuning, which makes for a much more user-friendly instrument for the average ukeist! This is a truly excellent playing and sounding uke, sweet but with exceptional volume and a lot of punch. Overall Excellent - Condition.
C. F.
