(43 mm.). A very clean guitar overall; a very fine playing D-28. There are a few minor issues; there is one small repaired pickguard crack, a long finish check on the top center seam and most notably a slightly crushed-in area on the top edge that has been neatly filled in with lacquer. None of these distract from the feel or character of this guitar which otherwise shows little sign of wear from its 40+ years on Earth. One of the nicer early-'70's Martins we have had.
