Although built as a gut string guitar, this small X-braced gem plays fine with either light steel or silk-and-steel strings, with a crisp airy sound. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOverall very nice, with some work done over the years but generally original appearance. Tuners are the original unplated brass strips with grained ivoroid buttons.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eOverall length is 38 in. (96.5 cm.), 13 1\/2 in. (34.3 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 3\/16 in. (10.6 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3\/4 in. (629 mm.). \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIn very good overall condition, ready to play. Neck angle and saddle are excellent. The finish is original with light average wear overall except for an area of fingerwear on the top that has been polished over. The bridge is a replica pyramid style made of rosewood, with the long saddle converted to short at some point. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThere are several small grain cracks on the back adjacent to to center seam and the marks of a removed strap button from the heel.
