Fender Musicmaster Bass Model Solid Body Electric Bass Guitar (1977), made in Fullerton, California, serial # S719026, black refinished finish, alder body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, black gig bag case.

Overall length is 42 1/8 in. (107 cm.), 12 1/4 in. (31.1 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 1/2 in. (3.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 30 in. (762 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.). This little Fender bass looks like a bit of A New York survivor, but still works well. The original heavy Polyester finish on the body has been replaced with a black lacquer that is thinner and more "vintage-y" feeling but of course not original. The bass looks to have been played quite a bit since then, there are dings and scuffs and some chips to the edges. The neck finish is pretty well worn down but the headstock decal is still intact. All hardware appears original except the thumbrest that was screwed to the pickguard is missing. Still a good beginner's or knock-around bass, as intended, with a funky but chic vibe. Overall Very Good + Condition.
