Fender Musicmaster Bass Model Solid Body Electric Bass Guitar (1979), made in Fullerton, California, black polyester finish, alder body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, original black chipboard case.

Overall length is 42 1/8 in. (107 cm.), 12 1/4 in. (31.1 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 1/2 in. (3.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 30 in. (762 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.).

This is a very clean and all original end-of-the-1970s Fender Musicmaster bass, with just some light finish scuffing and wear but no repairs or alterations. The original molded plastic coil cord (still in the case) left a small burn mark on the back of the lower horn during what must have been many years in storage. Plays and sounds as it should; timelessly cool looking in its all-black livery and still one of the best beginner's basses ever made. The 30" short-scale Musicmaster is a very comfortable 4-string quite suitable for live and recording situations despite its budget origins. Excellent + Condition.
