Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1979), made in Nashville, TN, serial # 70649567, natural lacquer finish, mahogany body with maple cap, laminated maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, black hard shell case.

Overall length is 39 3/8 in. (100 cm.), 13 in. (33 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 7/8 in. (4.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.).

This is a very clean and original end-of-the-'70s Les Paul, in the less common natural top finish option with a 3-piece maple neck. There is light wear, but the only alteration is a metal jackplate in place of the always-broken plastic one. The finish shows small dings and dents (mostly on the back and rear edge) but is still shiny overall with no checking or discoloration.

The frets show hardly any wear and this is a good-playing and sounding example -- not the lightest we have had at 10lbs. 6oz., but far from the heaviest either! This is actually a fairly rare Les Paul variation, with only a total of 458 made in the 1970's and all of 16 in 1979! A cool '70s survivor, currently residing in a period Japanese HSC. Excellent Condition.
