Danelectro Longhorn 1958 Model Model Electric Bass Guitar (1998), made in Korea, serial # 9811551589, Blue Suede finish, hardboard and wood body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, original tweed hard shell case.
Overall length is 39 3/4 in. (101 cm.), 13 1/8 in. (33.3 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 1/2 in. (3.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 29 1/2 in. (749 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.).
This bass shows only the tiniest signs of being played, with just a few miniscule scuff marks and several small areas of shrinkage to the thin vinyl side covering to show its age. This is a superb example of the first, best Danelectro Longhorn re-issue from Korea in one of the rarer finishes. Plays and sounds great. Still appears to have the original strings on and comes complete with a clean, original hard case and some paperwork. Excellent + Condition.
