Marshall Mercury Model Tube Amplifier (1975), made in England, serial # 56156, red tolex covering finish. The Marshall Mercury is a 5-watt combo amp with one 12-inch speaker, made in the UK in the mid-70s. It is a hybrid amp with a transistor preamp and powered by one EL84. Great vintage British tone with nice natural overdrive. Just one volume and one tone control, with a footswitchable tremolo and controls for speed and intensity.
 
Height is 18 1/2 in. (47 cm.), 18 3/4 in. (47.6 cm.) width, and 8 1/2 in. (21.6 cm.) deep. Very clean condition with flashy red tolex. This amp retains its original speaker. It has been serviced and has a few changed caps. The amp is made for UK voltage but comes with a step-up transformer for use in the US. Excellent - Condition.
