Fender Deluxe Model 5D3 Model Tube Amplifier (1954), made in Fullerton, California, serial # 2783, tweed fabric covering finish.
Height is 15 3/4 in. (40 cm.), 17 3/4 in. (45.1 cm.) width, and 7 1/2 in. (19 cm.) deep. A very nice example of the 1954 Deluxe, one of Leo Fender's classically toneful electronic creations. This amp is nicely original with just newer filter caps and a 3-prong cord; otherwise undisturbed internally. The original blue Jensen speaker is in good condition, the power tubes are recent but the others period. The tweed shows some moderate wear overall and the control panel has some light loss to the chrome plating. The handle and upper back panel are correct replacements. A Super sounding amp, just the right size to roar in a controlled environment! Excellent - Condition.
