Fender Stratocaster Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1973), made in Fullerton, California, serial # 527599, sunburst polyester finish, alder body, rosewood fingerboard on maple neck, original black hard shell case.

Overall length is 39 1/4 in. (99.7 cm.), 12 5/8 in. (32.1 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) deep. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.). This is a nice clean '73 Strat, all original except for one changed tone pot and a newer trem arm. It carries no neck date as is often seen in 1973 (while Fender was changing the marking system used to stamp the heel-it does carry typical inspectors' marks); the remaining original pots are dated to the 37th week of '73. The only notable wear is a spot of finish on the back of the neck/headstock joint that looks to have rubbed away a bit, and a couple of small rubs to the body edges. There is some very light wear overall, and the frets have had some normal G&P work but this guitar has not seen a lot of action over the past 40+ years. A good playing, fine sounding '70's Strat-not as heavy as many at just under 8 Lbs. It is also cleaner than many survivors, complete with the original black HSC. Excellent + Condition.
