Gibson RB-250 Model 5 String Resonator Banjo (1974), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, serial # 625772, dark mahogany finish, laminated maple rim, mahogany neck and resonator, rosewood fingerboard, black hard shell case.
Overall length is 38 in. (96.5 cm.), 11 in. (27.9 cm.) diameter head, and 3 3/4 in. (9.5 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 26 in. (660 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.). A nice clean example with some light play wear; the only modification is railroad spikes added at frets 7 and 9. The hooks and nuts are newer, new 5-star head, everything else is original. A very nice '70's tube-and-plate revival 20-hole flathead Mastertone, complete with a newer Gibson-branded case ready to gig again. Overall Excellent Condition.
