Rickenbacker Model 5062 V58 Model Solid Body Electric Mandolin (1995), made in Los Angeles, serial # A8-9985, mapleglo natural lacquer finish, laminated maple/walnut body and neck, padouk fingerboard, original silver hard shell case.

This instrument is a nearly perfect re-issue of Rickenbacker's 1958 Electric Mandolin, originally made in such small numbers as to be practically non-existent. It is a light and handy solid body with a maple integral body/neck unit with a walnut back. There is a single Rickenbacker "toaster" pickup mounted on the gold-backed Lucite pickguard with the typical volume and tone setup. A really cool sounding and playing electric mandolin, a typically unique-feeling Rickenbacker creation.

Overall length is 24 7/8 in. (63.2 cm.), 9 1/4 in. (23.5 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 7/16 in. (3.6 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 14 in. (356 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/16 in. (30 mm.). Very clean, shows almost no wear-all original and complete except one of the bridge height screws has gone missing (the remaing three do the job perfectly well). A neat piece, in its original silver HSC. Near Mint Condition.
