Gibson J-45 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1967), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, serial # 053989, cherry sunburst top, natural mahogany back and sides finish, mahogany back and sides, spruce top; mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, black hard shell case.

Overall length is 41 in. (104.1 cm.), 16 in. (40.6 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 5 in. (12.7 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.). Quite clean overall, not much finish distress (some pickwear through the finish on the soundhole edge) and only one small repaired pickguard crack in the typical spot just south of the high E string. Fitted with newer tuners (the originals were cheap Japanese single units) and the original adjustable bridge has been replaced with a correct solid wood unit with a drop-in saddle. Marked as a factory second likely due to the cherry finish having been sprayed ofer the fingerboard edges above the 14th fret. A very easy playing, good sounding 1960's Gibson complete with a more recent deluxe HSC. Generally Excellent Condition.
