Favilla F-6 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar, c. 1960's, made in New York City, serial # 900623, natural lacquer finish, mahogany back, sides and neck, spruce top, rosewood fingerboard, original black chipboard case.
Overall length is 39 1/2 in. (100.3 cm.), 14 3/8 in. (36.5 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/8 in. (10.5 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 in. (635 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/4 in. (44 mm.). A nicely original guitar, with some minor wear overall. No repairs or alterations, a good chunky sound from this well-made if not especially elegant 1960's flattop. The top is solid spruce, ladder braced and the pickguard is reminiscent of a 1930's Gibson L-00. A very good sounding, excellent playing vintage flattop at this price point.
