Kay Value Leader Model Electric Bass Guitar, c. 1961, made in Chicago, sunburst lacquer finish, laminated maple body, maple neck, original two-tone chipboard case.
Overall length is 39 1/4 in. (99.7 cm.), 13 1/4 in. (33.7 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 1/2 in. (622 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). Exrtremely fine condition; all original, very clean, no alterations or repairs. Plays well, typically klunky super-short scale bass sound. Includes the original SSC, about as nice as these get! Excellent + Condition.
