Gibson J-45 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1957), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, sunburst top, dark back and sides finish, mahogany back, sides and neck; spruce top, rosewood fingerboard, molded plastic hard shell case.

Overall length is 41 in. (104.1 cm.), 16 1/4 in. (41.3 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 5 in. (12.7 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). A lovely original late-1950's J-45; some general wear but no repairs or alterations. The dark sunburst is overall relatively clean with hardle any fade and some broad checking. No cracks anywhere; there is a small but fairly deep case-lid ding in the top and a couple of finish scrapes, some old and fairly inconspicuous vinyl strap impression on the back and a wear spot on the side at the lower bass bout from contact with the player. Frets have some wear but are still very playable, there are some deep depressions in the fingerboard in the first couple of frets between the high E and B strings-somebody played a lot of Cowboy chords on this one. Very fine deep, round sound, with plenty of authority and volume. Includes a very fine and practical Hiscox Lite Flite case. Overall Excellent Condition.
