Bacon Belmont Model 5 String Resonator Banjo (1960's), made in Brooklyn, NY, reddish brown sunburst and shaded pearloid finish, maple neck, rim and resonator, black chipboard case.
Overall length is 37 in. (94 cm.), 11 in. (27.9 cm.) diameter head, and 3 7/8 in. (9.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 26 1/2 in. (673 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.). Appears all original with only minor wear-even has a genuine calfskin head, which adds quite a bit of depth and warmth to the sound. An excellent value in a vintage 5-string banjo, made here in our home of Brooklyn NY! Excellent + Condition.
