Fender Telecaster Deluxe Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1977), made in Fullerton, California, white polyester finish, alder body, maple neck, original black tolex hard shell case.
A very unusual guitar! This Tele Deluxe has factory gold-plated parts-a custom option in the 1960's, but virtually unknown in the 1970's. The combination of the white body, black pickguard and gold accents makes for a striking visual appeal. With two of Fender's 1970's Seth lover-designed humbucking pickups and a Stratocaster style neck and body contouring theTelecaster Deluxe is an excellent player as well, with a sound all its own. This guitar is about the coolest of this model we have ever seen!
Overall length is 39 1/2 in. (100.3 cm.), 12 3/4 in. (32.4 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth at side. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.). Appears all original; some finish dings and wear to the gold plate but overall very well preserved. Excellent - Condition.
