Fender Bassman 6G6B Model Tube Bass Amplifier (1962), made in Fullerton, California, cream Tolex finish.
Height is 29 in. (73.7 cm.), 30 in. (76.2 cm.) width, and 11 1/2 in. (29.2 cm.) . A well used but not abused early Fender stack-Tolex in good shape overall, a bit dirty but no major tears or damage (there's a reason Fender went to black tolex after a couple of years!) generally not bad looking. Sone stains on the top of the head (small) and cabinet (larger, but inconspicuous when the unit is set up). The amp has had a pretty complete re-cap but no major mods, major components are original and the speakers are restored to period original style but are not an exactly cosmetically matched set. Markings in the cabinet indicate this unit was once owned by well-known NY guitar slinger G.E. Smith. A good gigging example of this classic Fender piggyback, useful for medium volume vintage tube bass tones and a monster guitar rig when cranked. Overall Very Good + Condition.
