Gibson EH-150 Model Lap Steel Electric Guitar (1936), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, serial # 998-8E, sunburst lacquer finish, maple body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, original black hard shell case.
Overall length is 32 in. (81.3 cm.), 9 in. (22.9 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 7/8 in. (4.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 22 1/2 in. (572 mm.). Width of nut is 2 in. (51 mm.). Well worn but a good player with the typically excellent sound these early 150's are known for. There is an area of touched up finish wear to the top by the treble side of the fingerboard and fairly heavy finish loss to the back of the neck and body edge, the rest of the lacquer is not too bad, and nicely aged. New repro tuners and extremely fine quality repro knobs; a good find in a player's 1930's Gibson steel. Overall Very Good + Condition.
