Stradolin Arch Top Mandolin, c. 1940's, made in Chicago, sunburst lacquer with stenciling finish, maple body, spruce top; basswood neck.

Overall length is 25 3/8 in. (64.5 cm.), 10 in. (25.4 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 in. (5.1 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 13 7/8 in. (352 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.). All original, some minor play wear but overall very well preserved. There is split on the side bend near the neck block on the bass side that appears to be under the factory finish, likely a construction error that was finished over! (Strad-O-Lins WERE budget instruments). Quite a nice sounding instrument and now (as then) a good value in an F-hole mandolin. Overall Excellent Condition.
