Fender Deluxe Model 5C3 Model Tube Amplifier (1953), made in Fullerton, California, tweed finish.

A lovely early example of a wide-panel tweed Deluxe, one of Fender's all-time classic amplifiers. The tube chart in this amp carries the code stamp "CL" meaning a production date of December 1953. With a single 12" blue Jensen, the 1953-4 deluxe is simply one of the best small club gigging and recording amps ever designed. This is a fine-sounding amp, both clean and cranked to "12"...yes, that's one past "11". Complete with its original canvas cover, well-maintained and ready to rock for another 50 years.

Height is 16 1/4 in. (41.3 cm.), 18 in. (45.7 cm.) width, and 7 5/8 in. (19.4 cm.) deep.

Recently serviced and re-capped as needed and power cord upgraded to 3-prong (originals included); minor wear overall but a very well-preserved amp. Excellent Condition.
