Harmony Baritone Ukulele, c. 1950's, made in Chicago, natural lacquer finish, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, original brown canvas gig bag case.
This Harmony baritone Uke is in nearly perfect condition after 50 or so years. Well-made of surprisingly nice mahogany, very solid and good sounding. Harmony were the main builders of ukulele family instruments in the 1950's and 60's and this is a fine example of their better work.
Overall length is 29 3/4 in. (75.6 cm.), 10 1/8 in. (25.7 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 7/16 in. (8.7 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 19 1/4 in. (489 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/16 in. (33 mm.).
100% original with only very light wear; saddle cut down somewhat but no other alterations. Nice chunky tone! Excellent + Condition.
