Thompson & Odell Artist Model 5 String Banjo, c. 1895, made in Boston, natural varnish finish, spunover rim; mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard.
Overall length is 34 1/2 in. (87.6 cm.), 11 in. (27.9 cm.) diameter head, and 2 1/4 in. (5.7 cm.) deep. Scale length is 26 1/2 in. (673 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/2 in. (38 mm.). Excellent Condition.
