Fender Jazzmaster Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1966), made in Fullerton, California, Candy Apple Red lacquer finish, alder body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, original black hard shell case.

A very flashy "early CBS" Jazzmaster in candy apple red with the bound neck and pearloid block inlay typical of that era. Well-played but not abused; a great looking and sounding guitar with a definite vibe of its own.

Overall length is 41 in. (104.1 cm.), 14 1/4 in. (36.2 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 1/2 in. (3.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.).

Average playwear generally. Some small dings/edgewear and some loss to the red topcoat in the armwear area, but this custom color finish is overall nicely preserved and very attractive. The decal base is still present, but the lettering appears to have been worn or buffed away, leaving a "ghost" Fender logo and model designation. All original except Strat-style knobs appear to be later replacements. Very Good + Condition.
