Fender Jaguar Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1967), made in Fullerton, California, sunburst lacquer finish, alder body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, original black hard shell case.

A nice early-CBS Jaguar, all original and in very nice shape. Typical '67 features: bound neck with block inlay, bright 3-color sunburst; transition logo.

The Jaguar remains an under-appreciated guitar with several interesting features. The scale length is shorter than most Fender guitars and the pickups are optimized for clarity and crispness…factors that led to the Jaguar losing popularity in the late '60s as twang went out and distortion and crunch came in! Nevertheless, these are top-of-the line '60s Fenders and very high quality guitars.

Overall length is 40 1/8 in. (101.9 cm.), 13 3/4 in. (34.9 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 1/2 in. (3.8 cm.) in depth at side. Scale length is 24 in. (610 mm.).

Excellent, all original condition, except mute has been removed and there are three very small screwholes in the pickguard and body from a previous hex pickup installation. (OK, who put a synth pickup on a Surf guitar)?

Finish very nice with small areas of wear, but overall a well-preserved and great-sounding guitar, with an especially nice original case. Excellent Condition.
