Gretsch G-6136T LTV White Falcon Owned and used by Alexz Johnson Model Arch Top Hollow Body Electric Guitar (2013), made in Japan, serial # JT13052264, white finish, laminated maple body and neck, ebony fingerboard, original black tolex hard shell case.

This imposing white-and-gold Gretsch was until recently the primary stage electric guitar of Canadian singer/songwriter/actor Alexz Johnson. It is a quite accurate re-creation of the iconic late 1950s White Falcon, often considered the original Brooklyn company's crowning achievement. It maintains era-correct features including the white finished, gold sparkle-trimmed deep body with large f-holes, gold Lucite pickguard, Filter 'Tron pickups, indented G knobs with jeweled inserts, and Grover imperial tuners. The Bigsby B-7 vibrato is a very useful addition, common now but not standard on the Falcon in the 1950s. This is a very fine instrument typical of the quality the Japanese Terada factory brings to Gretsch, and a superb-sounding and always spectacular-looking guitar.

This Guitar has been used by Alexz extensively as a touring instrument over the last 10 years and can be seen and heard in concert footage and recordings. It is accompanied by an autographed copy of her latest LP "Seasons" on vinyl and a personally signed letter from Alexz describing her ownership of he instrument.

Alexz Johnson recently released "Seasons", her 5th and latest album of original material. It debuted earlier in 2023 and has been supported by a intimate European and US Tour. As an actor Johnson is best known as the star of Canadian CTV series "Instant Star", the Disney Channel series "So Weird" and the 2006 horror film "Final Destination 3". She also guest starred as Saturn Girl of the Legion of Super-Heroes on TV's Smallville. She has been nominated three times for a Gemini Award, winning one in 2008. Over much of the last decade Alexz has focused more on music, and this White Falcon has been along for the ride.

Overall length is 43 7/16 in. (110.3 cm.), 17 in. (43.2 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 3/4 in. (7 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.).

This Gretsch some light wear from stage use (all by Alexz) mostly minor corrosion and loss to the gold plating on the bridge, pickup covers and Bigsby handle. The finish has just light handling wear; the guitar was played a decent amount but very well cared for. We have left the stage-used strings on the guitar, they are a bit corroded and can of course be replaced as desired, but are part of the story for now! The original case is included, with some case candy including several personally used Alexz Johnson signature picks. Overall Excellent Condition.
