DeArmond FH-C Guitar Mike Model Archtop Guitar Pickup, c. 1950, made in Toledo, Ohio, chrome finish.
Overall length is 9 7/8 in. (25.1 cm.), 5 1/2 in. (14 cm.) across at the widest point.
This is a nice fairly early (late 1940s-early '50s) example of DeArmond's first classic archtop guitar pickup, the FH-C "Guitar Mike". It has integral cord common to this early period and the single small clear knob also used on some electric guitars of the period. There is some light general wear, but the unit appears all original and complete. The integral cord is not the most convenient 70 years on, but still functional and the pickup works as intended and sounds great as they all do! Overall Excellent Condition.
