Fender Jazzmaster Hybrid II Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (2021), made in Japan, serial # JD21003670, Shell Pink finish, alder body, maple neck, original black gig bag case.
Overall length is 41 in. (104.1 cm.), 14 1/4 in. (36.2 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 5/8 in. (4.1 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.).
This "Hybrid II" is a new model from Fender Japan, basically a traditional Jazzmaster with some modern alterations. These include staggered-height locking tuners in the guise of Kluson Deluxes and solid Mustang-style saddles on the floating bridge. The most noticeable difference is the elimination of the traditional rhythm circuit, there is only a standard 3-way switch on the upper bout instead of its old location on the lower. The pickups are "Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil Jazzmaster" voiced specially for each position.
This is a nice clean playing guitar with a good range of tones, a one-piece maple neck (uncommon on the Jazzmaster) with 22 frets and a deeper C-profile than many Japanese Fenders. And it's Shell Pink! The guitar appears new, in apparently unused condition with the plastic afterbirth and sticker still on the pickguard and pickups, and the original gig bag with paperwork included.
