Fender Blue Floral Stratocaster Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (2002), made in Japan, serial # Q017993, Blue floral metallic finish, hardwood body, maple neck, original black gig bag case.

Here's a neat hybrid idea from Fender Japan around 20 years ago: the 1968-style Blue Floral Telecaster livery on a Stratocaster. The Strat's contoured body dissuaded Fender from trying this originally, but Fender Japan put it together in the early 21st century for a neat flower-power throwback. The other features are pretty much standard maple-neck Strat fare, it has a 1950's style maple neck with a small headstock and "Spaghetti logo' decal instead of correct "1968" era characteristics, with a more '60s flat/rounded profile. This is a neat looking and great playing Strat, something different from the always creative minds at Fender Japan.

Overall length is 38 7/8 in. (98.7 cm.), 13 in. (33 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 11/16 in. (4.3 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.).

This one is very clean overall showing a few minor dings, scuffs and dents but does not appear much played. There is a deeper scratch in the back trem cover plate and a couple of dings along the top edge of the body but really this guitar appears little used since new. Just about 20 years old this Strat looks, plays and sounds great accompanied by the original Fender gig bag with some paperwork still inside. Excellent Condition.
