Gibson Firebird III Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (2006), made in Nashville, TN, serial # 012960424, cherry lacquer finish, laminated mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, original black tolex hard shell case.
Overall length is 45 in. (114.3 cm.), 13 1/2 in. (34.3 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 1/8 in. (2.9 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.).
This guitar appears little played since new, showing only some minor handling marks and the lightest fretwear. This modern-pattern Firebird is essentially a re-issue of the 1964 Firebird V, generally accurate except for the substitution of a stop tailpiece for the original vibrato and a cherry finish in place of sunburst. This is an excellent-playing and sounding 'bird, complete and original in its very clean (and huge!) original tolex HSC. Excellent + Condition.
