Ampeg B-15N Model Tube Bass Amplifier (1969), made in Linden NJ, black tolex covering finish.

This "SVT era" B-15N is the final version of this classic model made in Ampeg's Linden NJ factory. The blue check tolex has been replaced with thinner black, the build is beefed up a bit but the circuit is basically the same as the 1960s version. The amp has a bit more power and headroom and the addition of SVT-style "Ultra Hi" and "Ultra Lo" tone modification switches to each of two discreet channels. There are four inputs (two "bright" and two "normal") and a simplified on/off and polarity switch lineup. Still the best recording bass amp of all time, this one shows a decent amount of use but still really gets the job done!
Height is 38 in. (96.5 cm.), 21 1/2 in. (54.6 cm.) width, and 14 in. (35.6 cm.) deep.

This amp shows some average wear and tear overall but nothing too serious. There are some small tears to the Tolex and grillcloth and the covering is shrinking up a bit at some of the seams. It has standard maintenance work done with newer tubes and some cap work. This is a very fine-sounding amp, equipped with a JBL K-140-16 speaker that really puts out a powerful and clean low end. Very Good + Condition.
