Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1989), made in Annapolis, Maryland, serial # 9-7028, cherry sunburst finish, mahogany body with maple cap, mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, original black hard shell case.

This very attractive PRS is marked in the pickup cavity "Vintage Sunburst 10" for ten grade top. It is a relatively rare variant in the early PRS line with a Gibson-style stoptail/Tune-O-Matic setup, which imparts a definite sound difference compared to the standard trem unit. A nice example from the period and an exceptional player's guitar.

Overall length is 38 1/2 in. (97.8 cm.), 13 in. (33 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 1/4 in. (3.2 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 in. (635 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). Very clean overall with only super light play wear. The only alteration is a cream "chicken head" knob on the rotary selector. An excellent player, definitely benefitting from the rare stoptail feature in terms of a more traditionally "Gibson-y" tone. Excellent + Condition.
