Jose Ramirez Clase 1A Model Classical Guitar (1976), made in Madrid, serial # 9565, natural finish, solid rosewood back, laminated rosewood sides, cedar top Honduran cedar neck with ebony figerboard, molded plastic hard shell case.
Overall length is 39 1/2 in. (100.3 cm.), 14 1/2 in. (36.8 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 3/16 in. (10.6 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 26 in. (660 mm.). Width of nut is 2 3/16 in. (56 mm.).

This guitar has some average finish wear overall, and has had some older re-construction. There is a second ebony fingerboard added over the original, which has been planed down into a wedge. Internally a finger brace was added on the bass side of the sound hole. The top has no cracks but is somewhat depressed forward of the sound hole by the fingerboard extension. There are two old sealed grain cracks to the rosewood back on the bass side. The tuners are higher grade, but the two strips are mismatched. This is a very good-sounding guitar; while not an all-original instrument, still a worthy example of Ramirez's high-grade concert instruments. Overall Very Good + Condition.
